Six Layer Dinner
Six Layer Dinner is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. diced potatoes, 3 tbsp. uncooked rice, 3/4 lb. ground beef, 1 medium green pepper and 1 medium onion, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Place a thick layer of raw potatoes in a casserole dish which has been buttered.
Sprinkle rice over potatoes.
Cover rice with ground beef.
Add layer of chopped carrots, then green peppers, onions, salt and sugar.
Add tomatoes which you have chopped up with the juice.
Cover tightly and cook at 350Β° for 2 1/2 hours.
