Simply Delicious and Easy Apple Cake
Simply Delicious And Easy Apple Cake is an easy dinner. Made with 1 box cake mix (either yellow or white), cinnamon (to taste), nutmeg (to taste) and 4 or 5 large apples, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Mix box cake mix according to directions on package.
Stir in cinnamon and nutmeg.
If you really like cinnamon, add a lot.
Batter will turn light brown.
Pour into a 13 x 9 inch well greased cake pan (I spray mine with Pam).
Peel and cut into chunks at least 4 large apples.
Insert them into cake by just laying them on top.
I put lots and lots of apples into the cake.
Then with a knife I push them down so that the batter comes up above them.
Sprinkle a little more cinnamon and nutmeg on top of the cake and bake according to directions on the cake mix box.
Serve warm with a scoop of ice cream on top.
