Silky Meringue
Silky Meringue is an easy dinner. Made with 3 or 4 egg whites and sugar (2 to 2 1/2 tbsp. per egg white), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Beat with an electric mixer on high speed for 1 minute or until soft peaks form (tips curl) when beaters are lifted out.
A hand mixer works fine but beating time may be slightly longer.
At soft peak stage, add sugar slowly while beating egg whites, so that sugar dissolves.
Beat 7 minutes or until stiff peaks form (tips stand straight).
Spread the meringue over hot pie filling to avoid leakage between filling and meringue.
Also, seal the crust well to prevent leakage and shrinking.
Bake at 350Β° for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden.
