Cook linguine al dente; drain.

Cook shrimp in boiling water until pink; drain and cool.

Carefully remove shell from each shrimp, leaving the tail intact.

Devein shrimp.

(You should have about 2 cups cooked shrimp.)

In a 3-quart microwave-safe casserole, combine mushrooms, margarine, green onions and garlic. Micro-cook, covered, on 100% power (High), 2 to 3 minutes or until onions are tender.

Stir in the shrimp, 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, parsley, wine, basil and pepper.

Micro-cook, uncovered, on High for 30 seconds or until heated through.

Add linguine to shrimp mix.

Toss to mix.

Serve immediately.

Put additional cheese, if desired.

Serves 4.
