Shrimp Du Chef
Shrimp Du Chef is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 tbsp. butter, 2 tbsp. finely chopped onion, 1 1/2 tsp. chopped garlic, 20 to 30 large shrimp, cooked, peeled and deveined and 2 c. fresh, sliced mushrooms, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
In a large skillet, melt butter; saute onion and garlic until tender.
Add shrimp, mushrooms, beef broth and lemon juice; saute 2 minutes.
Add wine and parsley.
Heat through.
Season to taste with salt and white pepper.
Remove shrimp from sauce and arrange on plates.
Cook sauce 1 minute longer and pour over shrimp. Garnish with parsley.
Makes 4 appetizers or 2 entrΓ©e servings.
