Shrimp Creole is an impressive dinner. Made with 1/2 c. chopped onion, 1/2 c. chopped celery, 1 clove garlic, 3 tbsp. oil and 1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Cook onion, celery and garlic in hot oil until tender but not brown.
Add tomatoes, tomato sauce and seasonings.
Simmer, uncovered, 45 minutes.
Mix cornstarch with 2 teaspoons of water. Stir into sauce.
Add shrimp and green pepper.
Cover; simmer until done.
