Shrimp Chowder
Shrimp Chowder is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 lb. shelled shrimp, 5 medium sized potatoes, 1 large onion, 2 cans chicken broth and 1 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Fry onion in butter until soft and colored.
Add boiling water and chicken broth.
Add potatoes, seasonings, celery and carrots and simmer for 25 minutes.
Add shrimp and simmer for 5 minutes. Add milk and stir in grated cheese.
Heat, but be sure not to scald, the milk.
Add parsley and simmer 15 minutes.
"Serve with crusty bread or toast."
