Shredded Apple Cake
Shredded Apple Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened, 1 tsp. vanilla, 2 eggs (at room temperature), 2 c. all-purpose flour and 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

In large bowl, cream butter, sugar and vanilla until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Mix flour, soda and nutmeg.
Add half the flour mixture to butter mixture and beat well.
Gradually mix in the remaining flour, beating well after the last addition.
Fold in nuts and apples.
