Shortcut Lasagna
Shortcut Lasagna is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 8 oz. bulk italian sausage, 4 oz. (2 1/2 c.) wide noodles, 1 beaten egg, 1 c. cream-style cottage cheese and 1 (6 oz.) pkg. sliced mozzarella cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Brown meat; drain off fat.
Cook noodles in boiling salted water according to package directions; drain.
Combine egg, cottage cheese, Parmesan and meat.
In 10 x 6 x 2-inch baking dish, layer half each of noodles, meat mixture, Mozzarella and spaghetti sauce; repeat layers.
Bake, uncovered in 375Β° oven for 50 minutes.
Let stand 10 minutes.
Sprinkle with additional Parmesan if desired.
Makes 4 to 6 servings.
