Mix flour, salt, sugar and baking powder.
Cut in shortening. Add milk.
Either roll dough to 1/2 inch thickness and cut into biscuits, or pat into a 9-inch square cake pan.
Bake at 350Β° for 25 to 30 minutes or until biscuits test done.
