Shortbread
Shortbread is an easy dinner. Made with 2 c. butter, 1 c. sugar and 4 c. plus 2 tbsp. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Cream butter and sugar.
Add flour and mix well.
Spread on a 13 x 9-inch cookie sheet.
Prick top all over with a fork.
Bake at 275Β° for 1 1/2 hours, turn off oven.
Remove shortbread, cut into squares and sprinkle with sugar.
Return to oven and leave until oven cools.
Store in airtight container.
Will keep for weeks.
Freezes well.
