Short-Cut Lasagna
Short-Cut Lasagna is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. ground beef, 1 (no. 2 1/2) can tomatoes, 1 (8 oz.) can seasoned tomato sauce, 1 or 2 envelopes spaghetti sauce mix and 2 cloves garlic, minced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Brown meat; spoon off excess fat.
Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, spaghetti sauce mix and garlic.
Cover; simmer for 40 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Season.
Cook noodles in boiling salted water until tender; drain and rinse in cold water.
Place half the noodles in an 11 1/2 x 7 1/2 x 1 1/2-inch baking dish.
Cover with 1/3 the sauce.
Top with half the Mozzarella.
