Shoo-Fly Pie
Shoo-Fly Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell, 1 1/4 c. flour, 1 c. brown sugar, packed, 1/4 c. butter or margarine and 2 c. molasses, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Mix together flour and sugar.
Cut in butter with a pastry blender until crumbly.
In a separate bowl add the boiling water to molasses, soda and cinnamon.
Beat mixture until foamy.
Stir 1/2 of crumb mixture into molasses mixture and pour into pie shell.
Top with remaining crumb mixture.
Bake in a preheated 350Β° oven for 30 to 40 minutes, until pie is firm and lightly brown.
