Shoo-Fly Pie
Shoo-Fly Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. flour, 3/4 c. brown sugar, 1 1/2 tbsp. butter, 1 1/2 tbsp. oil and 1 c. king syrup, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Mix until crumbly the flour, brown sugar, butter and oil. Reserve 1/2 cup.
Add syrup, egg, warm water and water mixed with baking soda.
Beat mixture until smooth.
Pour into pie shell. Sprinkle reserved crumbs on top.
Bake 10 minutes at 400° and then 30 minutes at 350°.
