Combine flour, sugar and butter, work into fine crumbs. Keep out 1 1/2 topping.
Water, molasses and soda. Add remaining crumbs and mix well until batter is thin. Pour in pan that greased and floured.
Sprinkle the 1 1/2 cups of crumbs on top and bake at 350Β° for 45 minutes.
