Dredge fruit and nuts with 1 cup flour.
Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs one at a time.
Beat thoroughly.
Add flour and mix together.
Add sherry.
Fold in fruit and nuts.
Put into greased and floured spring-form pan and bake at 250Β° for 2 hours.
