In frying pan, brown hamburger with onion, salt and pepper. Drain off grease.
Separately fix potatoes according to box.
In casserole dish, put browned hamburger. Spread the mashed potatoes evenly over the hamburger.
Place cheese slices on top.
Put in oven at 350Β° until cheese melts.
