Seven-up Cake
Seven-Up Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. butter or margarine, 3 c. sugar, 5 eggs, 3 c. plain flour and 3/4 c. 7-up, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Cream butter and sugar in a mixer bowl.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
Add flour to cream mixture alternately with 7-Up, beating after each addition.
Stir in lemon flavor and beat well.
Pour mixture into a greased and lightly floured 10-inch tube cake pan.
Bake in a preheated 325Β° oven for 1 1/2 hours or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool thoroughly on wire rack.
