Seven Minute Icing is an easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. sugar, 3 egg whites, unbeaten, 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla flavoring, 1/4 tsp. salt and 4 1/2 tbsp. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Combine ingredients and cook in double boiler, beating constantly with hand mixer for 7 minutes.
Scrape bottom and sides constantly with spoon.
Icing should be smooth, but stiff.
Will cover a layer cake generously.
