Seven Layer Salad
Seven Layer Salad is an moderately easy salad you can prepare in about 2 hours 20 minutes. Made with lettuce, onion, bell pepper, carrots and celery, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Break head of lettuce in small pieces.
Place in bottom of dish.
Dice onion.
Layer on top of head of lettuce.
Dice bell pepper.
Layer on top of onion.
Grate carrots.
Layer on top of bell pepper.
Dice celery.
Layer on top of carrots.
Layer peas on top of celery.
Grate the eggs and layer on top of peas.
Mix sugar with Hellmann's mayonnaise.
Cover salad with mayonnaise.
Sprinkle fancy shredded cheese over the mayonnaise.
