*Seven Layer Casserole
*Seven Layer Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. ground beef, 1/2 c. thinly sliced onion, 1 c. sliced carrots, 1/4 c. chopped green pepper and 1/2 c. chopped celery, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Brown ground beef.
Then in a greased 2-quart casserole, arrange in layers first the meat layer, then a layer of each of the vegetables, one on top of the other in order given in listing, ending with hot water.
Cover and bake in a slow 325Β° oven for about 2 hours.
Add more water, if needed, during cooking period. Serves 5 or 6.
