Seven Layer Bars
Seven Layer Bars is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 3/4 cubes butter, 1 full pkg. and 4 rectangles graham crackers, 1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips, 1/2 (12 oz.) bag or 6 oz. butterscotch chips and 1 1/2 c. flaked coconut, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Melt butter; stir in crushed graham crackers.
Pat crumb mixture evenly in bottom of an ungreased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan (I use glass).
Layer in order the chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, coconut and nuts.
Pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over all.
Bake in a 350° oven for 30 minutes.
(My oven seems to run hot, therefore I worked with a 325° to 335° temperature for 25 minutes.
Possibly the glass dish causes the bars to overcook too easily also.)
Cool 30 to 45 minutes before you cut into bars.
Any longer and you will be using a jackhammer.
