Seaside Candy Roll
Seaside Candy Roll is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. pecans, divided, 1/3 c. margarine, 1/3 c. karo light syrup, 1 tsp. maple flavoring and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Chop 1 1/2 cups of nuts finely and 1/2 cup coarsely.
Mix together margarine, syrup, flavoring and salt.
Add powdered sugar and mix thoroughly.
Knead well.
Add finely chopped nuts.
Shape mixture into 2 rolls 2 inches in diameter.
Brush with additional syrup and roll in coarsely chopped nuts.
Wrap roll in wax paper and then in foil.
Refrigerate.
