Seafood Turnovers
Seafood Turnovers is an easy dinner. Made with 1 large can grands biscuits, 1 can smoked oysters, 1 can crab meat, 1 (10 oz.) pkg. broccoli, cauliflower and carrots in cheese sauce (boil in bag) and 1 egg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Boil or microwave vegetable package until ready to serve. Place cooked vegetables in a bowl (may be cut to smaller size) and add oysters and crabs (sardine size cans are recommended, canned chicken may be substituted).
Use rolling pin and flour to roll out biscuits to about 6 to 8-inch diameter.
Spoon in vegetable and seafood mixture into rolled biscuits (approximately 2 tablespoons per biscuit).
Fold biscuit into half circle turnover.
Seal edges with a fork.
Place on an ungreased cookie sheet.
Brush on beaten egg on outside of biscuit.
Bake in oven at 350Β° for 15 minutes or until outer shell browns.
Makes 8 turnovers.
