Seafood Queso
Seafood Queso is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. shredded monterey jack cheese, 1 tbsp. flour, 1/2 c. shrimp, cooked (fresh), 1/2 c. crabmeat, cooked (fresh) and 1/2 c. dry white wine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Heat wine in a double boiler over low heat.
Place cheese in a plastic bag and sprinkle flour over cheese, shaking bag to coat all.
When wine gets bubbles forming on top, place one handful of cheese into wine.
Stir until melted and continue to add cheese until all is melted and smooth.
Keep warm.
Warm seafood and salsa in a fondue pot.
Pour cheese over hot seafood mixture and gently stir.
Serve with corn tortilla chips.
