Scratch Dumplings
Scratch Dumplings is an easy dinner. Made with biscuit dough and chicken, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Make enough biscuit dough according to how many dumplings you want.
Add egg to dough and make with sweet milk and self-rising flour.
Work into soft ball, put in refrigerator and let chill a couple of hours or more.
Boil chicken, bone.
If using fryer, add a can of cream of chicken soup to chicken broth and chicken.
Roll out chilled dough thin.
Cut into small pieces,
1 1/2 or 2-inches.
Drop into boiling broth, a few pieces at a time. Slightly stir with wooden spoon, don't overstir.
Add a little butter and salt and pepper to taste.
