Scottish Trifle
Scottish Trifle is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 small sponge cake, 1 pkg. jell-o, 2 tins fruit or fresh fruit, diced, 1 pkg. custard powder and 1 carton heavy whipping cream, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Break sponge cake in large bowl.
May be soaked in sherry. Cover with fruit and Jell-O (mix according to package). Refrigerate.
When set, mix custard according to package.
Let cool.
Pour over cold cake mixture.
Refrigerate.
When set, whip the cream and pour over cake mixture.
Decorate with 100's and 1,000's or chocolate chips/flakes.
Refrigerate until ready to serve.
Serves 6.
