Scottish Shortbread is an easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. butter, 4 c. flour, 1 c. 10x sugar, 2 tbsp. granulated sugar and sprinkle of colored sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Cream butter.
Add sugar and flour.
Knead with hands.
Place in pan.
Flatten, then prick with fork.
Sprinkle with colored sugar crystals.
Preheat oven to 350°.
Bake for 15 minutes.
Turn down oven to 300° and bake another 30 minutes, until golden brown on edges.
Turn off oven and leave in oven overnight.
Cut into squares when cool.
