Scotcharoos
Scotcharoos is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. chocolate chips, 1 c. butterscotch chips, 1 c. sugar, 1 c. white corn syrup and 1 c. peanut butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
π¨βπ³ Instructions
Melt chocolate chips and butterscotch chips in double boiler on low.
In large heavy kettle, put sugar and syrup.
Bring to boil just to melt sugar.
Take off heat.
Add peanut butter. Stir.
Then add rice cereal.
Spread in 9 x 13-inch pan.
Press in pan with damp hands.
Frost with chip mixture.
Cut before it sets.
