Scotch Cake
Scotch Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. plain flour, 2 c. sugar, 1 stick margarine, 1/2 c. crisco and 4 tbsp. cocoa, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Combine flour and sugar in a large bowl.
In a saucepan, put margarine, shortening, cocoa and water; bring to a rapid boil. Pour into flour and sugar mixture.
Mix well.
Add all other ingredients and mix well.
Bake in a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan at 350Β° for 30 minutes.
Make icing about 5 minutes before cake has finished baking.
