Scorcher
Scorcher is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 tsp. ground cumin, 1 tsp. oregano, 1/2 c. olive oil, 1 tsp. red pepper and 10 cloves garlic, minced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

In a large kettle, fry meat in oil until dark brown.
Then add 1-quart of water. Cover and simmer two hours.
Add remaining ingredients, except flour and cornmeal.
Cook at gentle simmer for 30 minutes, removing bay leaves after 15 minutes.
Make a paste of flour, cornmeal and water.
Stir into mixture, cooking another five minutes at simmer while stirring often.
Serve immediately with a fire extinguisher at your right elbow.
