School Rolls
School Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. warm water, 1/8 c. or 3 pkg. dry yeast, 3/4 c. sugar, 1 tbsp. salt and 1 c. shortening, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Mix warm water, yeast, salt, sugar and shortening in mixing bowl.
Stir until sugar is dissolved and everything is mixed well. Let set and rise until it gets bubbly.
Add flour enough so dough will handle good, but not stiff.
Mix for about 5 minutes or so. Let stand until it rises and doubles in bulk.
Roll out about 1/2-inch thick.
Cut and put in greased sheet.
Let rise again until doubled.
Cook at 350Β° until done.
