Scallops Thermidor
Scallops Thermidor is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. cooked scallops, 4 oz. can mushroom stems and pieces, drained, 1/4 c. butter or margarine, melted, 1/4 c. flour and 1 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Cut large scallops in half.
Fry mushrooms in butter for 5 minutes.
Blend in flour and seasonings.
Add milk gradually and cook until thick, stirring constantly.
Add scallops and parsley. Place in a prebaked pie shell (8-inch deep dish works best). Sprinkle with cheese and paprika.
Bake in a hot oven at 400Β° for 10 to 15 minutes or until cheese browns.
Serves 6.
