Scalloped Fish
Scalloped Fish is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/4 c. butter, 2 tbsp. green onions, 1 c. toasted bread crumbs, 2 tbsp. flour and 1 1/4 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Melt 2 tablespoons butter in saucepan over medium heat; saute onions until tender.
Stir in bread crumbs and toss.
Remove and set aside.
Melt remaining 2 tablespoons butter in skillet; stir in flour and cook 1 to 2 minutes, until smooth.
Slowly add milk and cook, stirring constantly, until thickened, about 3 minutes. Add tuna and sherry; season to taste with salt and pepper.
Stir until blended.
Spread half of tuna mixture in buttered shallow baking dish; cover with half of bread crumbs.
Top with remaining tuna and bread crumbs.
Bake at 425Β° for 20 minutes.
