Scalloped Corn
Scalloped Corn is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (16 oz.) can whole kernel corn or 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen corn, 1/4 c. chopped onion, 1/2 small green pepper, chopped, 2 tbsp. margarine or butter and 2 tbsp. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Prepare corn as usual.
Drain.
In a skillet, cook and stir onion and green pepper in 2 tablespoons margarine until onion is tender.
Remove from heat.
Stir in flour, salt, paprika, mustard and pepper.
Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until mixture is bubbly.
Remove from heat.
Stir in milk gradually.
Heat to boiling, stirring constantly.
Boil and stir 1 minute.
Stir in corn and egg.
Pour into ungreased 1-quart dish.
