Savory Tomato Quick Bread
Savory Tomato Quick Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 1/2 c. flour, 1 tbsp. baking powder, 1 tsp. salt, 1 tsp. garlic salt and 1 tsp. crushed oregano, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Stir together flour, baking powder, salts, oregano, sugar and cheeses.
Add enough milk to drained tomato liquid to make 2/3 cup.
Blend liquid with eggs and oil.
Stir liquid and chopped tomatoes into flour mixture until thoroughly moistened.
Pour batter into greased loaf pan.
Bake in preheated 350Β° oven for 75 to 80 minutes.
If bread is brown before baking time is complete, cover with a foil tent.
Cool 10 minutes in pan and turn onto wire rack and cool thoroughly.
