Savory Stuffing Balls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. chopped onion, 1 c. butter or margarine, 1 c. chopped celery, 1/2 c. parsley flakes and 1 tbsp. sage, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Melt butter in pan over medium heat.
Add onions and cook until tender.
Add next six ingredients and cook about 5 minutes.
Put bread into large bowl and toss with the hot mixture.
Beat egg, add to chicken broth and mix into bread cubes.
Shape into 2-inch balls and place on buttered cookie sheet.
Bake uncovered about 20 minutes at 375Β°.
Makes about 30 balls.
