Savory Herbed Oatcakes
Savory Herbed Oatcakes is an easy dinner. Made with 4 c. old fashioned rolled oats, 1 tsp. salt, 3 tbsp. butter, 2 tbsp. finely chopped herbs: rosemary, sage or thyme and 1/2 c. warm water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Place all ingredients except water in food processor, using pulse setting.
Slowly add water until dough forms a sticky ball. Roll out on a floured board to about 1/8-inch thick.
Cut into squares or rounds and place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Prick well and bake in 350Β° oven for 15 to 20 minutes until light brown.
Cool on rack.
Can be frozen.
