Savannah Red Rice
Savannah Red Rice is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 strips bacon, 2 green peppers, chopped, 2 medium onions, chopped, 2 c. cooked rice and 1 pt. stewed tomatoes, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

In large skillet fry bacon until crisp.
Add onions and peppers; fry until brown.
Add rice, tomatoes and Tabasco.
Stir. Add meat, salt and pepper.
Put into greased 2-quart casserole. Sprinkle top with cheese.
Bake at 325Β° for 30 minutes.
