Sauteed Potatoes
Sauteed Potatoes is an easy dinner. Made with 1 tbsp. vegetable oil, 1 tbsp. butter, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/4 tsp. pepper and 1 1/2 lb. (about 4 medium) all-purpose potatoes, peeled and cut into 3/4-inch cubes, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Drain potatoes on paper towels.
In a large heavy skillet, heat oil and butter until butter is melted.
Add potatoes, turning to coat.
Saute over medium-high heat, shaking pan occasionally or tossing potatoes with spoon for about 10 minutes or until potatoes begin to brown.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Reduce heat to medium.
Toss again.
Cover skillet.
Cook about 15 minutes more, shaking skillet or tossing occasionally until potatoes are golden and cooked through.
