Sausage-Vegetable Chowder
Sausage-Vegetable Chowder is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 tbsp. butter or margarine, 3 tbsp. all-purpose flour, 1 tsp. salt, 1 tsp. onion powder and 1/4 tsp. dried dill weed, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
In a large saucepan melt butter or margarine over low heat. Blend in flour, salt, onion powder, dill weed and pepper.
Add milk all at once.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened and bubbly.
Cut the partially thawed frozen vegetables into bite-size pieces, if necessary.
Stir the vegetables, corn and sausage into the soup.
Cover and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes or until vegetables are done.
