Sausage Rice
Sausage Rice is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 tbsp. butter, 1 medium onion, finely chopped, 1 to 2 ribs celery, finely chopped, 1 green pepper, finely chopped and 1 (12 oz.) pkg. sausage roll, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
In a large skillet, melt butter.
Saute onion, celery and green pepper until soft.
Add sausage until browned and crumbly. Add mushrooms, garlic and spices.
Cook about 3 to 5 minutes. Stir in rice.
Add stock.
Reduce heat to simmer and cook until liquid is absorbed, 20 to 25 minutes.
Serves 4 to 6.
