Sausage-Potato Casserole
Sausage-Potato Casserole is an easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. potatoes, peeled and cubed, 1/4 c. italian dressing, 1/4 medium onion, diced, or 1/4 c. green onions, 4 oz. mild cheddar and 1 lb. smoked sausage, cut into equal portions, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Heat oven to 350Β°, or use microwave on High.
Place peeled and cubed potatoes in covered container with 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/4 cup of water.
Cook for 15 minutes.
Drain; add remaining ingredients, except sausage.
Mix lightly; spoon into an 11 3/4 x 7 1/2-inch baking dish.
Top with the smoked sausage, cut into equal portions.
Bake for 30 minutes in oven or for 8 to 10 minutes in the microwave.
Place 3 diagonally cut American cheese slices on sausages.
Bake or microwave until cheese melts.
