Sausage Loaf
Sausage Loaf is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 cans crescent rolls, 1 lb. hot sausage (bulk), 1 lb. mild sausage (bulk), 2 beaten eggs and 1 tbsp. grated parmesan cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Brown sausages together and drain grease.
Lay rolls out to make about 15 x 15-inch square.
Pinch the creases and roll out. (Cut a little extra dough off for patching.) Add beaten eggs to sausage and spread on flat crescents.
Spread 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese over sausage.
Sprinkle with garlic salt, basil, parsley and Parmesan cheese.
Roll up like a jelly roll and patch with extra dough or the mixture will pop out.
(If desired, brush on a beaten egg for a shiny appearance.)
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet 30 to 40 minutes at 350Β°.
When cool, cut.
