Sausage Bread
Sausage Bread is an easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. frozen yeast bread (3 loaves), 1 onion, chopped, 2 lb. sausage (hot or mild), cooked and drained and 1 lb. shredded cheese (1/2 lb. cheddar and 1/2 lb. jalapeño, monterey jack), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Allow bread dough to thaw in refrigerator overnight and roll into three 9 x 13-inch rectangles.
Sprinkle onion, cooked sausage and cheese down the middle and fold each side to the middle and seal all edges.
Place seam side down on foil-lined cookie sheet and let rise 30 minutes.
Follow package directions for cooking bread.
When done, cool 10 to 15 minutes and slice.
