Sauerkraut
Sauerkraut is an easy dinner. Made with shredded cabbage, 1 c. sugar or less, 1 c. vinegar, 1 qt. water and 3 qt. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Pack shredded cabbage into jars.
Combine sugar, vinegar and 1 quart of water.
Bring to a boil, then turn off heat and add the last 3 quarts of water.
Pour over the shredded cabbage.
Put lids on and store in a cool, dark place.
Ready in 14 days.
