Sauerbraten
Sauerbraten is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 1/2 to 4 lb. beef (rump), 3 bay leaves, 4 cloves, 1 pt. vinegar and salt and pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Marinate meat in vinegar, water, bay leaves, cloves, salt and pepper for 3 to 5 days.
Then remove meat and brown on both sides. Add 1 1/2 cups vinegar-water and roast in oven at 325Β°.
Also add carrots and onions and roast about 3 hours.
