Sand Tarts
Sand Tarts is an easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sugar, 1 1/4 c. butter or margarine, 3 eggs, pinch of salt and 1 qt. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Add butter to flour like you do pie crust.
Add sugar.
Beat egg and add.
Form into loaf shape.
Let stand overnight.
Roll real thin.
Cut with cookie cutter.
Beat another egg.
Brush egg over top of dough.
Sprinkle with cinnamon.
Place 2 peanut halves on each cookie.
Press into dough.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes at 400Β°.
