Sam's Hearty Beef Casserole
Sam'S Hearty Beef Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. hamburger, 8 oz. shell macaroni, 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce, 1 c. cottage cheese and 8 oz. soft cream cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Preheat oven to 350°.
Cook macaroni according to package directions and drain.
Brown hamburger; drain off grease.
Add tomato sauce.
Remove from heat.
Combine in a bowl the cheeses, sour cream, onions and green peppers.
Spread half the macaroni shells into a 2-quart casserole dish.
Cover with all the cheese mixture.
Add remaining macaroni shells.
Pour beef-tomato mixture on top.
Bake in a 350° oven for 40 minutes.
Serves 6 to 8.
