Salmonettes Heloise
Salmonettes Heloise is an moderately easy dinner you can prepare in about 1 hour 44 minutes. Made with (15 oz.) can pink salmon, egg, heaping tsp. baking powder and c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Pour salmon juice into measuring cup and set aside.
Put salmon in mixing bowl and 1 egg.
Break up salmon and mix the egg real good.
Fork in 1/2 cup flour.
Mixture is thick.
Add a little pepper, 1/4 salmon juice and add 1 teaspoon baking powder. Beat with a fork.
It must foam.
Pour into salmon mixture.
Mix with fork.
Scoop with small spoons into hot oil.
Makes brown tidbits.
Stick with toothpick and serve with dip or put a hot sauce over them.
